A Tower Hamlets nursery has been named ‘Nursery of the Year’ by the UK’s leading publication for early years education.
Children’s House Nursery at Bruce Road in Bow was presented with the annual award by Nursery World.
It follows a series of accolades and praise the nursery received this year. Ofsted gave the nursery an ‘Outstanding’ report after their inspection in November last year. It was also the first nursery in the borough to achieve Quality Extended Services accreditation for their extended services.
From visits to the school by farm animals to swimming, ice skating, dance and music sessions, the children have access to a host of activities. Parents also benefit from workshops and family trips organised by the school. Transport for London gave the nursery a Gold Sustainable Travel Award in recognition of work done to ensure the school community is environmentally aware.
Proud parents, whose children attend Children’s House, wrote to Nursery World telling them about the resources available to both children and parents at the nursery.
