Researchers at Queen Mary, University of London, are looking for women to participate in a national study into how MRI scans can be used to manage chronic pelvic pain.
The condition affects around four per cent of women, triggering the National Institute for Health Research Health Technology Assessment Programme to fund new research into how to tackle it.
Women often have to wait up to eight years to be diagnosed with the condition, meaning their quality of life suffers as they are not given necessary treatment.
The researchers are looking for around 100 women aged 16 and above to take part in the study at the university’s campus in Mile End.
