CONTROVERSIAL artist Tracey Emin has donated signed sketchbooks for sale by human rights campaigners.
The artist who has made her home in Spitalfields since 2001 donated the six empty books which she designed to the Tower Hamlets and City branch of Amnesty International.
Two of the notebooks were sold at Amnesty's fair in Spitalfields last month and a third has been on sale on auction site ebay where eight bidders have pushed the price to �13.50. The deadline is tomorrow.
The book's front cover bears the title 'I used to have such a good imagination' and inside the artist has written 'Enjoy the empty book. Tracey Emin 2009'.
Unsigned books sell for �11.26 at Tate Modern.
