GARDENING groups in East London can get their hands on plants exhibited by some of the country's top designers.

The London Community Resource Network will be working with gardeners as they put together and dismantle their displays at this month's RHS Hampton Court Flower Show in south London.

The plants will be offered to registered community groups and the scheme could appeal to East End gardeners who are creating oases of green space on a tight budget.

It is also looking for volunteers to help before and after the show to make sure as little as possible gets wasted.
