NIDO Spitalfields is the world's tallest student accommodation hall and officially opens this Thursday.
Soaring heights at 34-storeys and 105 meters tall, it boasts breathtaking views across London.
A multi million pound joint venture between The Blackstone Group and Generation Estates, Nido Spitalfields is 105 metres tall with 34 floors accommodating 1,204 students .
The building has single rooms, twin studios and spacious four-six bedroom shared apartments.
With security as a top priority Nido will have the latest technology and hassle-free extras. Onsite student facilities will be available for everyone including a gym on the 33rd floor, communal lounges, study rooms, additional class rooms, games space, a laundry facility and secure bicycle storage.
A cashless vending system will also be available enabling students to use the laundry and other onsite facilities and will act as a personal swipe card secure entry key.
An increasing number of students across the globe from Germany, India, Spain, America, Italy, Czech Republic, France and Africa, as well as the UK, are moving in.
Maureen McDermott, Director of Student Accommodation, said: “Nido Student Living addresses the need for better quality living and, in particular, studio living in one of the world’s leading cities for both UK and international students. With foreign students bringing in approximately £4 billion a year to the economy, there is a staggering lack of quality student accommodation to support them. British universities provide accommodation for less than a quarter of potential demand.”
Room prices range from £210 per week per person sharing a twin room to £330 per week per person for a single studio.
