Experts in Bengal heritage are being urged to get involved in a history week celebrating the region this autumn.
Bangladeshi community group the Brick Lane Circle is planning its fourth annual history week celebrating the south Asian region of Bengal, which encompasses parts of India and Bangladesh.
The organisation is inviting research students, scholars and experts to contribute to the week, which is designed to help generate better understanding of the region.
The programme will explore a range of topics related to Bengal’s history, ranging from politics and economics to climate change and personalities.
