THE magic of The FA Cup has come to East London today (Monday) with the new Trophy Tour arriving at Upton Park with Hammers legends from the 1980 FA Cup winning team.

The Trophy Tour is aimed at children from seven to 11 and their families, with a half-hour inter-active presentation reliving the most memorable goals, shock giant-killings and classic Cup Final triumphs from the past 128 years.

Visitors walk in the footsteps of Wembley legends like Trevor Brooking, by scoring the winning goal at Wembley in a virtual FA Cup Final. Fans can then get to hold the genuine FA Cup trophy to have their pictures taken.

“To be able to lift The Cup at Wembley is every child’s dream,” said FA Football Development director Sir Trevor Brooking. “Now they’ll be able to get that little bit closer to actually doing it.”

The Trophy Tour opens 11am and closes at 7pm tonight. But visitors have to register first by email.
