FAMILIES were out in the sun on Sunday for the London Chest Hospital’s annual summer fair to raise money for new medical equipment.
But the kids were more involved in serious stuff like getting their faces painted and making giant bubbles.
The Friends of the London Chest Hospital charity in Bethnal Green, which runs the annual fair in the grounds near East London’s Victoria Park, was hoping to top last year’s 5,000.
Little Frankie Williams, who’s 12, is the biggest donor so far after raising 400 by being sponsored in April’s London Mini Marathon.
