Tenants have moved into newly built Georgian-style town houses in Whitechapel.
Four families have moved into the houses, built in keeping with the style of the surrounding streets.
The homes were built by housing provider Network Housing Group, who worked with the Greater London Authority and Tower Hamlets Council in a bid to tackle the borough’s housing shortages.
They were designed in order to fit with the historic style of buildings in Myrdle Street and Walden Street.
The Group’s business development director Jeremy Stibbe said: “We are delighted to be able to offer energy efficient family homes which are in keeping with the architecture and history of the area.”
