MOST people will have seen the campaign to inspire people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life to join ChildLine as a member of our crucial volunteer teams.

ChildLine has helped two million children in distress or danger since 1986. We rely on efforts of volunteers who give their time to listen to youngsters.

The work does not stop there. Around four-million children are living in poverty in Britain, one of the worst rates in the industrialised world.

This is why we have teamed up with the Dare to Care campaign to help end child poverty.

Many of the children who phone ChildLine's call centre in East London have to cope with day-to-day hardship and the 'emotional poverty' from lack of love and care.

The five-month campaign aims to recruit 35,000 volunteers.

Give us just a few hours a week to projects such as ChildLine which helps care for some of Britain's most disadvantaged children.
