Let's have our community garden back... or we'll lose it

MANY a time I have staggered along Cable-street here in the East End with my shopping, longing to sit down and rest. It is so tantalising to see the inviting benches in the Cable Street Community Garden. But the community is locked out! It could be

MANY a time I have staggered along Cable-street here in the East End with my shopping, longing to sit down and rest.

It is so tantalising to see the 'inviting' benches in the Cable Street 'Community' Garden.

But the 'community' is locked out!

It could be such a pretty area, but now looking sad and overgrown and full of bags of rubbish from the allotments.

Whoever is in charge should be ashamed. They also need to be very careful, as Tower Hamlets council is avidly looking for abandoned sites for redevelopment.

So please, can we use it... and not lose it?
