Dear Editor,, I WOULD like to express my deepest sorrow at the senseless death of the waiter Syed Islam, aged 28, who was the victim of a mindless attack at the Maida’ restaurant in Bethnal Green

Dear Editor,

I WOULD like to express my deepest sorrow at the senseless death of the waiter Syed Islam, aged 28, who was the victim of a mindless attack at the Maida’ restaurant in Bethnal Green (Syed dies after trying to break up fight outside his restaurant, Advertiser website).

I would like to add my sincere condolences to the family of Syed Islam on their tragic loss in what must surely be one of their darkest hours.
