An interactive story-telling event at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park providing people with an insight into its former use as a functioning graveyard is being put on next month.
“A Curious Collection of Incidents” has been created to inform people about the area’s history – as well as the people buried in the park.
Names from several of the gravestones have been used in a semi-fictional story written specially for the event.
Guests will receive a map to help them find several graves dotted around the cemetery, with parts of the story contained at each one. When the story is formed, they can go back to the start of the adventure, where they will receive a hard-backed version.
For more information on the event, to be held at the Cemetery Park in Mile End on May 18, visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/123847364476478/
