FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze in a five-storey block of flats in London's East End.
Four engines and twenty firefighters tackled the blaze at Coke Street, Whitechapel yesterday evening.
They were called at 7.30pm and had the fire under control less than an hour later.
No-one was hurt, but the ground floor of the flats and a gym were both badly damaged.
Investigators are still working to establish how the fire started.
