DOZENS of firefighters tackled a blaze at a block of flats near Canary Wharf.
The fire at Indescon Square, close to South Quay DLR station, was reported just before 12.50pm, a flat on the sixth floor partly damaged during the incident.
Four fire engines attended the scene, and there are no reports of anyone injured.
The fire was under control at 1.36pm, with crews from Poplar, Shadwell and Whitechapel stations at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
