AN EMERGENCY fire crew rescued a 12-year-old girl who was trapped in her bathroom after collapsing yesterday (Monday) at her home in East London.

The girl's parents couldn't get into the bathroom of their home at Chagford House in Talwin Street, Bromley-by-Bow, and dialled 999.

The fire crew had to break into the bathroom, where they found the girl collapsed. An ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital. The family had just returned from celebrating the Muslim Eid festival in the afternoon when the girl collapsed.
