THIS Halloween's eve, St John Ambulance is calling on adventurous souls dressed in their scariest costumes to embark on a new 10k Creepy Crawl around the sinister landmarks of London to raise money for the charity.

The first ever Creepy Crawl will take place at dusk on Friday 30 October, the eve of Halloween, starting at atmospheric London Bridge and winding its way around the capital's historical sights, famed for their bloody past and ghostly sightings.

Throughout the walk over 100 ghouls, ghosts and other fundraisers in fancy dress will take in highlights such as the murder site of one of Jack the Ripper's victims in Whitechapel, Fleet Street's location of the demon barber Sweeney Todd, the 'Bank Nun' ghost of the Bank of England who spooks Threadneedle Street searching for her hanged brother, and The Strand's Adelphi Theatre, haunted by an actor murdered by a jealous colleague.

The charity is inviting people to come along, dress up and hear tales of poltergeists, ghostly apparitions and legends and enjoy themed snacks to keep your energy up for the frights ahead.
