AN artwork which is set to become the first in a collection of sculptures in a famous Spitalfields spot was unveiled today.
Kenny Hunter unveiled his 3.5 metre piece, I Goat at Bishops Square.
The sculpture is inspired by the waves of immigrants who faced challenges and sacrifices before making the East End their home.
The Scottish artist won the votes of both the public and panel in the Spitalfields Sculpture Prize, which also came with a 45,000 commission.
The organisers hope to create a sculpture park on the site, which overlooks the famous Christchurch tower.
