Floral tributes to girl who fell from Bow tower block removed
TRIBUTES to a young girl who plunged to her death from a 15th storey tower block building have been removed.
Piles of bouquets, teddy bears and other toys, and hand-written cards and notes have been taken from the area next to where nine-year-old Leanne fell to her death from Sandall House, Daling Way, Bow, just before 2.40pm on Saturday afternoon.
The tributes, many of which had been written and decorated by children, were taken away in the early hours of this morning, according to residents.
“I think it’s disgusting, said neighbour Valerie Spindler, 59, who knew Leanne well.
“Children have taken their teddies out of their toybox to put there for Leanne and now they’re gone, it’s not right.”

One tribute signed older cousin Harry Dem Dem, said: “My little cousin, my angel, love you to bits. Gone but never forgotten.”
