A city farm welcomed in some bleating of a difference sort when a folk band turned up for a set in the hay.
Families flocked to Spitalfields City Farm on Saturday for a day of music, face painting and workshops.
Bengali and English folk performers also turned up to provide music and ran some of the sessions which included mother and baby drumming.
Tabla sessions with Manjeet Singh, clog stepdancing, folk singing with Kerry Fletcher, a musical treasure hunt and farm tours were also on offer.
The midsummer jamboree ended with traditional ceilidh dancing.
Farmyard animals including rare goat and sheep breeds, chickens, rabbits, birds and many more species live at the farm.
