A conference on food poverty is set to bring more than 100 volunteers to Bromley-by-Bow this month.

Charity FoodCycle’s annual meeting will allow those who give up their time to help run 17 projects across the UK the chance to make the most of a weekend’s training and workshops.

Andy Boor, from the food poverty charity, said: “The FoodCycle Conference is an annual two-day event jam-packed full of free training, fantastic debate, inspiring speakers, and plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded people from across the country – and have a lot of fun too.”

The conference is to be held at the Bromley-by-Bow Centre in St Leonard’s Street, and Kingsley Hall in Powis Road on October 26-27.
