FOOTBALL fever is coming to Bethnal Green when writer Chris Roberts shares stories of rituals and superstitions share by players and fans.

Author and London tour guide Chris Roberts will be shining a light on the beautiful game which he describes in his book Football Voodoo at a talk at Bethnal Green library tomorrow. (Thurs June 17).

He will be talking about the superstitious rituals of the England football squad and those of their rivals and invites people to bring along their own superstitious objects to the event at the library in Cambridge Heath Road.

The free event kicks off at 6.30pm and refreshments are available.
