Former England striker Gary Lineker swapped his football boots for climbing shoes today as he scaled Britain’s tallest freestanding climbing wall in Brick Lane.
At 22 metres high and 26 metres wide the wall outside The Old Truman Brewery is shaped as Britain’s biggest crisp.
The TV presenter, who stars in commercials for Walkers crisps, was helping to launch the brand’s Deep Ridged crisps.
Other celebrities due to challenge each other for a climb today were Katie Price, Leandro Penna, Amir Khan, Georgia Salpa, Greg Rutherford, Louise Thompson, Max Rushden, Simon Webbe, and Ashley Walters.
The wall is open to the public until September 5.
