NON SWIMMERS can get in the swim with free classes for beginners in Tower Hamlets.
The scheme for 2,000 Tower Hamlets residents over 17 is part of the government's Free Swim project to get people making waves in six hours of classes over six weeks at the four public pools in the East End.
There will be a maximum of 12 people making a splash in each group.
Classes will be on offer after Easter and enrolment details will be available at Mile End Pool , Burdett Road , St George's Pool, The Highway , Tiller Leisure Centre, Tiller Road and York Hall on Old Ford Road or from www.gll.org.
