Free Hallowe’en events for little ghouls in Tower Hamlets

PUBLISHED: 14:46 16 October 2012

Little ghouls are being invited to attend fiendishly frightening – and free – family fun days on Hallowe’en (October 31).

Tower Hamlets Council has organised a ghost ship landing at King Edward Park, in Glamis Road, Shadwell. Other activities will include a pirate school, a spooky bouncy castle, and scary face painting.

Meanwhile, visitors to Stepney Green Park, in Stepney Way, will enjoy a monsters’ ball with DJ Frank Enstein and an “unlucky dip” that promises the “worst prizes ever”.

Cllr Rania Khan, cabinet member for culture, said: “Tower Hamlets will be transformed into a ghoulish haven for Hallowe’en. The only difficulty will be deciding whether to go to the Monsters Ball or the Ghost Ship.”

Children must be accompanied by an adult at both events, which will take place from 4pm until 7pm.
