Friends and family of the teenage girl who died in an arson attack in Bethnal Green will be holding a 'drink-up' this evening to celebrate her life.

They will be sharing memories of 17-year-old Shannen Vickers, who died alongside her gran Pauline Adams in a fire at their home in Malmesbury House in Cyprus Street. The event, which will be held at the Wetherspoons pub on Roman Road, is being advertised on the social networking site Facebook

The drink-up starts at 8pm and is expected to finish at midnight.
