Funeral of Charlie Paterson to take place

The funeral of a teenager who plunged 19 floors to his death inside the block of flats where he lived will take place today (Wednesday). Details of the service are not being made public.

Charlie Paterson, 14, fell to his death at Winford House, on the Locton Estate in Jodrell Road, Bow, on Friday, November 15.

Senrab FC, the football team Charlie played for, have retired his number 12 shirt and will dedicate an annual competition in his honour.

Tower Hamlets council have also confirmed tthey are working with Bishop Challoner school in Stepney, where he was a pupil to provide support and counselling to students and staff.
