A MAN is in hospital after being attacked by four men with a baseball bat this afternoon (Tuesday).
Officers have cordoned off a large area at the junction of Old Bethnal Green Road and Canrobert Street, where the attack happened around 2.20pm and Scenes of Crime Officers are searching for clues.
Cops say early reports indicate the man was hit with a baseball bat and that he has suffered head injuries and a fractured arm.
So far there have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
