A GAS meter reader was robbed by a gang in broad daylight while he made his rounds in East London. Police are appealing for witnesses after the 50-year-old was stopped and surrounded by six men in Hayfield Passage, Mile End Road, at 3.40pm last Friday. Th
A GAS meter reader was robbed by a gang in broad daylight while he made his rounds in East London.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 50-year-old was stopped and surrounded by six men in Hayfield Passage, Mile End Road, at 3.40pm last Friday.
They took the man's black mountain bike and headed off down Hannibal Road.
The gang members are described as between 18 and 20 years old and all male. Two members were white, two Asian and two black.
