BORN from the embers of Butch Morris' London Skyscraper Tour in 1997, the London Improvisers' Orchestra performs on the first Sunday of every month at Café Oto in Dalston.

Each concert has its own flavour, largely due to who is performing that night, and whose pieces are performed.

A transient bunch, the orchestras members come and go, with a few stalwarts, and the composition of the orchestra itself determines what music is performed and how.

The London Improvisers' Orchestra will perform tonight at Café Oto from 8pm. Tickets cost £6 on the door.
