Giant insect invaded the East End at the weekend as dusk fell on a famous high street in Bow.
In a show, which could have been dreamt up my Spanish Catalan architect Gaudi, performers dressed as giant insects came parading on wheels down Roman Road to Lefevre Park on Saturday night.
Accompanied by music and special effects the insects were said to have the Olympic Park in their sights.
The performance by Sarruga, a company from Catalan in Spain, was part of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival.
