THE government is giving the East End a funding boost for 200 affordable homes.
The funding is part of a �250million nationwide packet to provide 3,400 affordable homes and create around 5,000 jobs, announced by Housing Minister John Healey.
Housing association Circle Anglia was given funding to provide 202 homes, as part of a social rent scheme in Tower Hamlets.
The funding is being shared between 43 housing associations and other bodies operating across 97 local authority areas.
