Youngsters don’t have to be bored this half term – and their parents don’t have to worry about their wallets – because several free activities are taking place during the holidays.

The events, which range from woodcarving workshops to Xbox sessions, are being run by Tower Hamlets Council across the borough throughout the week-long break later this month.

Bethnal Green Gardens, in Braintree Street, will host a variety of fun events on Wednesday, February 20, such as face painting, arts and crafts, a synthetic ice-skating rink, and a bouncy castle. Aimed at all ages, there is no need to pre-book and the event will run from 10am until 4pm.
