Police are appealing for help in tracing a ‘high risk’ pensioner who’s gone missing from his East London home.

They are worried for the safety of 73-year-old Seymour Gayle, who was last seen on Tuesday in Fairfield Road in Bow, where he lives alone.

“It’s totally out of character for Mr Gayle to go missing,” a police spokesman told the Advertiser. “We are having posters made up to be handed out in the area to see if anyone has seen him and to keep an eye out for him. We’re concerned for his safety.”

Mr Gayle e (pictured) is about 5ft 3ins tall—it’s not known what he was wearing when he disappeared on December 13.
