Bethnal Green residents are being urged to keep an eye out for a missing man who may be in the area.
Essex Police say they are “growing increasingly concerned” for the welfare of 51-year-old Michael Conlon who was last seen at his home in Heath Road, Clacton, on February 23.
A spokesman said: “Searches of the local area have established he is no longer thought to be in Essex and indications are he is in the area of Bethnal Green.
“It is possible Mr Conlon may have visited pubs in the area.”
Mr Conlon is described as white, 6ft tall, of heavy build, with dark brown thinning hair and a moustache. He was wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt, black jacket and white trainers.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call police on 101.
