Health walks launched around Lea Valley Park

A SERIES of free guided health walks around the Lea Valley Park is being launched on Friday.

The first walk starts at the Aberfeldy Neighbourhood Centre on Aberfeldy Street in Poplar at 10.30am Friday March 12 and lasts about an hour.

The regular walks are part of the Walk Tower Hamlets scheme to encourage people to become more active and take some exercise.

The family friendly walks take in nature spots along the way and are also suitable for dogs.

It will take in refreshment and toilet stops along the way.
