A new ECG machine which helps diagnose the right treatment for patients suffering heart attacks has been presented to the London Chest Hospital by a grateful relative.
Satish Shah, whose uncle died in the hospital in Bethnal Green, wanted to thank staff for the care they gave.
So his family raised £2,500 towards an ECG, while his employers chipped in another £883. The Lions Club of London’s branch at Seven Kings where Satish is a member also added the proceeds from their annual charity walk and fun day towards the new machine for the chest hospital.
The Lions visited the hospital to present a cheque for £4,000 and were given a tour of the centre which specialises in treatment of heart attack.
