FAMILY history buffs thronged to the Island History Trust to look through its
collection of 5,000 pictures of Docklands through the past.
The trust is based at the Docklands Settlement in East Ferry Road and has open weekends twice a year to help people researching family or local history with trust members on hand to help budding historians.
The collections are indexed by name which is a boon for people tracing their family tree and hoping track down photographs of their ancestors.

The trust is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and at the same time on the first Sunday of the month.
