KIDS are being invited to travel back in time and discover the history of the Tower of London at a special event next weekend.

The historic building is hosting Children in the Tower on Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27 when youngsters can learn about the lives of the young princes of the Tower and help prepare for the coronation of Edward IV.

They will get to meet historical characters, court jesters and the Tower Raven master and take part in a host of arts and crafts from 10am-4pm.

Kids can also enjoy Halloween at the Tower on Saturday October 31 and Sunday November 1 from 11am - 3pm and Christmas at the Tower on Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13 from 11am - 3pm.
