Hollywood movie star Kevin Bacon turned heads when he walked through the bustling Petticoat Lane market for his latest EE Telecoms advert.
The star of Footloose, Apollo 13, X-men First Class and Tremors got a taste of London’s real East End when his production team used the street market off Whitechapel High Street in a shoot for his latest location.
He walked through the cobbled turning delivering his lines to camera before hopping on a red double-decker bus.
Petticoat Lane had its name changed to Middlesex Street by the Victorians who deemed the original a tad too saucy.
