HOMELESS men and women in London’s East End are busy creating willow sculptures measuring up to 90ft high to go on public display.
They have been working on a project with Crisis, the charity for the homeless, to make willow sculptures to be erected in mid January at Spitalfields Church gardens in Commercial Street.
The sculptures are being installed on the huge London Plane trees in the garden the charity looks after.
Now Sara Ghanchi, who runs the garden project for Crisis, wants to hear from a rigger or tree surgeon who could help install the giant sculptures at the garden.
