Hunt for cricket bat raiders after man is robbed in his home
COPS this week are appealing for witnesses after a man was battered on the head with a cricket bat when night-time raidsers broke into his home. The 42-year-old was attacked when six men forced their way into his flat in Shadwell on Sunday
COPS this week are appealing for witnesses after a man was battered on the head with a cricket bat when night-time raidsers broke into his home.
The 42-year-old was attacked when six men forced their way into his flat in Cable Street Studios in Shadwell at 2.30am on Sunday.
They escaped with �250 cash, a mobile phone, watch and electrical items.
The man was later taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with cuts and bruising, but released later that day.

One of the raiders has been described as Asian, around 20, chubby with short black, spiky hair, wearing a cream hooded top and tracksuit. One of his accomplices is also described as Asian, with short, black hair.
