Iceland announces opening dates for East End stores

ICELAND will be opening two of the three stores planned for the East End this May.

The frozen food giant will be opening up at the former Woolworths sites in Bethnal Green Road on May 7 and in Crisp Street in Poplar on May 21.

The supermarket chain has yet to announce a date for when it will begin trading at the former Woollies on Roman Road in Bow.

A spokeswoman for Iceland was unable to say how many jobs would be created by the three stores.
