ICELAND opened the first of three new chains at former Woolworth stores in the East End today.
The frozen food giant started trading at the former Woolies in Bethnal Green Road this morning. The supermarket recently secured a licence to sell alcohol at this store during restricted hours.
Iceland is also due to open up at former Woolies in Crisp Street in Poplar on May 21 and at Bow's Roman Road in June.
