An international Development scholarship is being set up at the University of East London for a student from a developing country who would not have had the chance to study overseas because of financial restraint.
Tuition fees, flights and accommodation are being given free, as well as meals and general living costs.
Adrienne Clarke, the university’s International Office director, said: “The scholarship is a chance for a student to further themselves academically and also take what they have learned to make a difference at home.”
The International Masters scholarship is being set up in partnership with the International Students House accommodation group for the UEL’s September intake.
