WATER sports for youngsters staying at home in East London for the summer can be as much fun as the seaside, these youngsters will tell you.
The annual summer programme at Docklands Watersports Centre on the Isle of Dogs kicked off with waves of windsurfing and canoeing.
It wasn’t just boats and floats being launched in the Millwall Docks.
The Isle of Dogs Community Fund used the day for a big splash out’ �45,000 of cash for summertime activities for East End kids which has gone to youth and community groups for their own summer activities.
