East End beekeeper Len Mole has helped students from the school in Manchester Road harvest more than 60lbs of pure Isle of Dogs honey from the school's own beehive.
Mr Mole relocated his hive from Dover to George Green's Community Garden in April this year.
Bringing just under 1,000 bees to the Isle of Dogs the numbers quickly multiplied to well over 50,000 at the height of the summer.

Lee Diep Chu from George Green's extended schools service said: "As the decline in honey bees continue we are positive that this contribution to the environment will go a long way to sustaining the current bee population in London."
Students in the school have been involved in environmental projects to enhance the environment for the bees.
