It’s a dog’s life sniffing out top prizes at Vicky Park on Sunday

Trying to compete to see who’s the best mutt in town is a bit of a dog’s life—but that’s what we canines are doing tomorrow in Vicky Park.
We’re having an afternoon of barking madness in east London at the Victoria Park Dog Show with celeb judges awarding us prizes and lots of goodies.
If you’re ‘dog’ and want to join in, tell your owner it’s £3 a category or £5 for two categories, such as ‘best in breed’ or ‘waggiest tale’. Registration is at 11am.
Our human two-legged friends can come in free as spectators—if they don’t mess on the grass.
The show from 12 noon to 4pm by the entrance at Gore Road in South Hackney is in aid of All Dogs Matter, the kind charity that thinks we’re the dog’s dinner.
They rescue and re-home us in and around London. But we get re-homed all over the country—so just because I have Cockney bark, doesn’t mean I won’t be ‘at home’ in the Welsh Hills, Scottish Highlands or anywhere in Merry Old England.
Unfortunately, there are more and more of us unwanted animals these days feeling ‘ruff’ and needing rescue and to be loved for the rest of our lives.
So the Sunday dog show at Vicky Park is a chance to meet some of us looking for good homes!
