THE GRISLY tale of the murderous career of Jack the Ripper is retold in a new book featuring many previously unpublished photographs dating back to the days when Whitechapel was gripped with fear of the notorious killer who was never caught by police

Ripperologists Robert Clack and Philip Hutchinson who is the emcee of the Whitechapel Society which is devoted to Ripper studies take the reader on a step by step tour of the crime scenes and give a detailed history of the victims, crimes and police investigation into 11 murders between 1888 to 1891.

The book which will be available in September also shows readers how to retrace the steps the Ripper's victims took, from the common lodging houses, pubs, and crime scenes of the day an explain how the streets of Whitechapel have changed.
