Midfielder was thrilled to be back after three months on sidelines through injury
Leyton Orient midfielder Lloyd James insisted they deserved the luck they got against Morecambe on Saturday in League Two.
While the O’s dominated throughout, they couldn’t find the net until the 81st minute at Brisbane Road.
That was when a Shrimps defender Alan Goodall cleared Jerome Binnom-Williams cross against team mate Ryan Edwards and it found the back of the net.
Although it was a hugely fortuitous goal for Kevin Nolan’s side, they had created numerous chances before that point.

Jay Simpson had a penalty saved by away substitute goalkeeper Kieron O’Hara and he also made several other fine stops.
“When you have 10 men sat behind the ball it is very hard and we do it in training,” said James, after making his first appearance since December 19.

“We do waves of attack and it is really difficult to break two banks of four down, but I thought we created some chances.
“Obviously the goalkeeper had a good game, but we got the luck we deserve. Maybe we haven’t had that lately.
“If we had that when we played Luton, we might have seen a different story. Nobody will remember the luck, we’ll just remember the result and carry on until Friday now when we face Accrington Stanley.”
The former Wales under-21 international is thrilled to be back fit again after missing three months of the season.
He suffered an achilles problem following the match with Yeovil Town in December and been on the sidelines since.
But after working hard with physio Peter Webb and fitness coach Craig Smith, he is available again and excited about the final two months of the campaign.
“I’m delighted to be back but we need to keep our feet on the ground and keep working hard,” added James.
“There is still a lot of work to do and as much as I can contribute to that, I’ll be delighted so I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.
“I feel as fit as I have done. That is all credit to Craig and Pete, they kept me working hard and I feel good.
“Obviously the match sharpness will come together when I get a few more games, but I was pleased with my contribution and glad we got the result.”
